Thanks to Emily and everyone in our Age of Worms group, I feel my sense of burnout ebbing. In fact, the creative juices are flowing fast and strong at long last :)

This thread is to discuss ressurecting (ala Phoenix) the "Greyhawk Wars" campaign. Say what you will, yea or nay.

If you are NOT a member of our present Age of Worms group AND you are not interested in "Greyhawk Wars", do us all the courtesy of keeping your mouth firmly shut.

If you ARE a member of this group OR you are interested in "Greyhawk Wars" please, speak freely.

I thank you for your participation or discretion, as the case may be :)

P.S. I firmly request that information about this campaign not be disseminated to any other message board (Ghoul, etc)

About damned time, lazy SOB.

Count myself and the Missus as in !
I can see her dancing for joy at the prospect of being a Sylvan elf. Heck, I might even try one of those pointy-eard folks, myself...or...Mario revisited.

Welcome back, Jason!

Do not fear the enemy, for he can only take your life; better that you should fear the press, for they will steal your honor.

I wouldn't mind playing again, but it does make me ask...
Are you getting tired of playing AoW, or would this be a second game?

Begin doing what you want to do now. We are not living in eternity. We have only this moment, sparkling like a star in our hand and melting like a snowflake. Let us use it before it is too late.

I am not getting tired of AoW at all. I have a lot of work to do before i am ready to unveil my nefarious plans, which is why this is in the discussion phase.

Trevor asked the main question I had, so I am deleting this message.

The MoE campaign was one of the most enjoyable campaigns I played in, especially a homebrew. I learned a lot about gaming and especially magic users in the game. It was a blast!!

So, this much I've gathered:

Iuz is making a play for overwhelming domination of the Flannaes, which would result in tons o' fun, in the form of death, destruction, and general unpleasantness.

Within Furyondy, is there a political, military or religious faction involved in covert military and intelligence gathering activities? Sort of the Greyhawk campaign version of the CIA / DIS ?

If so, then I have a concept for the character...

If you believe that the government is all about looking out for the little guy, you are either horribly naive, or possibly a democrat. The government, my friend, is a machine. A machine that was once sleek, nimble and high-speed--but now has had extra arms bolted on, extra passengers have hopped in for a free ride, and someone has spray painted its windshield black. In its thrashing about, its as likely to trample you as help you out.
