Well, that's two Star Wars campaigns we've seen through to the very end. Pretty good track record, I'd say.
Rob and I were reflecting on the drive home last night just how long and through how much this campaign has gone. Nearly three years to complete, with two players getting masters degrees in the process, one player getting and surviving cancer, attrition with players in and out of the group as schedules, careers and personalities clashed, and running right up to the wire for the arrival of Rob's baby. Looking back, it's amazing we finished it at all.
For Rob, this was an achievement many years in the making. He has started this campaign at least twice with other groups (one including me, some years ago) but never finished it. I congratulate you, Rob, for finally getting to the end of your labor of love. It demonstrates an incredible dedication and patience that I doubt most of us could muster. It was one of the best roleplaying experiences I've ever had. Ro'korro will go into my folder of Hall of Fame characters alongside Rane, Derano and Yarmdar.
I think I took for granted, early on, the privilege of playing in a custom, home-made campaign. Writing something from scratch is an immense undertaking, and to do so under so many strains and so many competing responsibilities is truly remarkable. It may be some time before we play a home-made campaign again, so I want to remember this as one of the best, and salute the work that went into it.
Thank you Rob, and thank you everyone for making the Rebellion Chronicles a blast. This is the reason we play roleplaying games.

It was awesome, and that last scene in particular was spectacular. I'm glad that I got to use Serenity, though if I had remembered the autofire lack of crit, and noticed the guy next to me wasn't actually a thrall, it might have gone differently :) Vhal's perfect strike with the dual 20's was also nice, especially given his foe's perfect block (but of only one of the sabers).
Anyway, it was a fitting end to a great campaign. I originally joined the group to play some Star Wars and this certainly fit the bill - good story and great characters on everyone's part.
Well done all.

It was a superb campaign, Rob. Well done indeed. What a feather in our cap as a gaming group to have played this awesome campaign over almost three years and all sorts of distractions. Rob, you're an excellent GM and deserve a lot of credit for just how much work you put into the Chronicles. Just awesome, plain and simple.
