I know we're planning on switching game night and it's coming pretty soon. Right now I thought the night was planning on being Wednesday. What are peoples thoughts on it being Thursday instead? Just testing the waters.

I'm good... the funeral stuff is all on Wednesday
Domino's at Rob's... just double checking.
Pizza - Pepperoni & Bannana Pepper
My only complication is a funeral this week. Melissa's best friends Dad passed away this weekend & we don't know when all the funeral arrangments will happen. Unless there is an active obligation on Tuesday night (visitation stuff) then I'll be there. I'll let everyone know as soon as the arrangments are firmed up.
Sorry about this guys.
I just read about Erastil. That sounds like the perfect fit. Cool.
This weekend I'll run through and compare this with the Fighter base stuff. One thing I'm scared to loose is the Armor training stuff. With an 18 dex without buffs that utilizes wepon finesse I was going to rely on this ability to allow me to utilize heavier armor as I leveled up while maintaining my full dex benefits. If anyone knows a way my logic was flawed when I started thinking this or if something else counter acts this that I haven't yet seen let me know.
I like peanut butter.
Thanks. I wanted to build in both a reason to make the trip into the Stolen Lands and be resentful of the stormlords at the same time since you said it's possilbe we could be going to war with them at some point in the campaign.
I’ve never written a diary note before, now seems the appropriate moment. In the morning I meet a group of strangers who are to be my companions. At very least I hope that they are competent. In my dreams I hope they are trustworthy and good.
I suppose I should explain how I’ve arrived at this moment though I must admit it seems boastful and perhaps a bit petty to write the tail myself. Perhaps, given time and deeds, one day one much more skilled with the quill will use this pitiful diary note as a reference piece in a greater and more worthy tail.
I was born 22 years ago, taking my first life as I drew my first breath. My mother Gillian died during child birth. I’m told that she was quite beautiful, though I was told this by my father as he sang her praises, so his perspective may have been colored. I was raised and trained by my father and his house servant.
My father was an accomplished Aldori Swordmaster named Jerrant Easton. Our home was comfortable and well kept and I wanted for nothing. That isn’t to say that we were rich. Father earned an honest coin through his skills teaching other swordsman his trade in one of the local schools. I’m certain he could have made more coin as an adventurer or mercenary but he always said he had the all the treasure an honest and good man could hope for in his pursuit to raise me. In my youth it was an enormous sense of pride to hear my father speak like this. Now, while pride is still within me, the more dominant emotions are those of incredible responsibility and guilt.
I speak in the past tense because my father now rests in the halls of the gods. Which of the divine has the privilege of his services in death I would not fathom to know, but I’m certain it’s a seat of honor and responsibility. His murderer I’m certain will suffer when his death finally comes.
His death occurred just 3 years past. I would not presume to understand all the politics that went into it, though the gods know I’ve tried and will someday understand all of it. What I do know is that he and another Swordmaster named Perash Discedo developed an intense rivalry, which predictably, given there skill and profession, lead to a dual.
If it had been a fair dual I do not believe I would be in the position I am in today. Either my father would have slain him or he would have slain my father. I would have mourned his death, developed a rational distaste for Discedo and moved on in my training and progression within the ranks of Aldori Swordsmen. However it wasn’t a fair dual and if any other had witnessed the treachery just before the dual I’m certain the Swordlords themselves would have offered me a blade to pierce Perash’s heart.
Something so small, how could a ring with an imbedded needle have such an impact? To this moment I’m both taken back and horrified how powerful an effect such a small thing can have on a man when tipped with a sinister agent. All the man did was grab my father by the inside of his left arm to pull him in for a lucks embrace. I saw the needle, but didn’t see the man’s face and certainly didn’t feel it my place to embarrass my father in front of all those watching.
Instead I watched the dual. Those who had never trained in the art would never have stood a chance to see the poison’s effects. He moved in ways most men dreamed. If you were a skilled swordsman you could have picked up that his timing was off. If you had been trained by him your entire life, as I had, you would have seen the flaws in his technique that simply didn’t exist any other time in his life.
In the end Perash Discedo slew my father and gained great fame from the dual. In the 3 years since he has risen quickly in the ranks of the Sword Lords. He also managed to lay claim to my father’s property as terms of the dual.
I have spent the last three years attempting to prove his guilt as I quietly attempt to gather evidence against him. I believe he has caught onto my attempts, thus leading me to my current situation. After finally applying formally to be a member of the Aldori Swordmasters I’ve been given the task of accompanying a group of unproven men into the Stolen Lands in an attempt to reclaim it and make its passage safe once more. My task is an uncommon one and rises well beyond any proving that is traditional. However my cause is honest and my heart is good. I will face this challenge head on with honor. I will pass any test laid before me. I will make my father a wealthy man in the heavens.
Delatath Easton Edited by trevor on Aug 2, 2010 at 10:16 PM
Back story comming soon.
Basics - Mother died at childbirth - Father raised him alone, Father was a skilled Aldori Swordsman & trained Deletath - 3 years ago his father fell on the wrong side of a unsavory but influential Swordmaster - His father was slain in a duel against this Swordmaster - Deletath knows that the swordmaster cheated in the dual but cannot prove it - This sword master has made it imposible for Delatath to be introduced as an initiate into the order as his skill level would warrent - instead he's forced him to except a likely fools errand into the woods to further "prove himself".
Expected Feat Progression (Fighter 1st-12th level)
1. Exotic W., W. Finnesse, Toughness 2. Step Up 3. W. Focus 4. W. Specialization 5. Power Attack 6. Vital Strike 7. Lunge 8. Improved Critical 9. Creater W. Focus 10. Dazzling Display 11. Improved Vital Strike 12. Aldori Sword Master

This is why I'm going to wait till closer to game time to firm things up. This really feels like moving target trying to link characters together.
Okay... this is totally misleading and I don't know how to edit a subject line. it should have read 7-20
