I am glad to find that the MoE is starting up again, and am looking forward to bringing Silgareth back to practice his arcane ways.
Jason, at what level will we be starting when we begin play?
So where can one find definitive information on what 4E will and wont have in it? I have seen a lot of conjecture and theories but nothing that is too definitive.
The MoE campaign was one of the most enjoyable campaigns I played in, especially a homebrew. I learned a lot about gaming and especially magic users in the game. It was a blast!!
Although I was only involved in the campaign for a short time, I loved the depth and intensity of the plot. It was a fantastic game and I loved being involved.
Brilliant!!
Trevor asked the main question I had, so I am deleting this message. Edited by DrJ on Sep 19, 2007 at 11:46 AM
As you all undoubtedly know, I have received a job offer in another part of the state. I will be moving to Maysville, KY for an unknown period of time. As this town is 2.5 hours from Louisville, I am going to have to leave the gaming group.
I want to thank you guys for the great time I had. It was always a pleasure coming to game with you all and I sincerely hope to keep in touch with you all. It was a ton of fun playing and I had a blast learning the different types of characters. Thanks to you guys I have tons of ideas for new characters for future games. When I do come to visit, I hope we can get together and play either a one-off or some Settlers.
I will be looking on the site from time to time to see what has transpired here, and hopefully I can get my gaming fix in the small town I'm moving to also.
I wish you all great luck and glad tidings.
I had a great time with the module. It was a lot of fun and I'm glad I was finally able to start playing a cleric--they are tons o' fun!!
The Scroll was with Miha, so I think it is Arcane. Edited by DrJ on May 16, 2007 at 11:26 AM
that's cool with me

Potion of Blur 3 rings of Protection (+1) 2 Cloaks of Resistance (+1) (+1) full plate Adamantine armor---------Barak (+1) Heavy Steel Shield (+1) Unholy Bastard Sword Gauntlets of Ogre Power--------------------Cormac Cloak of Charisma (+2)--------------------Cormac Ring of Frost Resistance (+1) Short Sword Quiver of Ehlonna-------------------------Zahn Gloves of Dexterity (+2)-----------------Gareth Heward's Haversack------------------------Cormac mw Spear silk rope

80 gold pieces = additional 16 gp each 5 platinum pieces = additional 1 pp each
When I tallied the total last night, I did not take into account the cost of the scrolls, potions or the loose gold pieces. I will have a complete tally later with those costs included.
Dave, your son is beautiful!!
Congratulations on the addition to your family. I cant wait to see all the other pics you are going to bring with you the next time you come to a game night.
Another thing for AoW, we should get a wand of Remove Disease, as that will kill any of the Kibis (sp?) worms.
I would like a ring and a vest in addition to the Cloak of Charisma. Unless Alcaeus wants the Boots of Springing and Striding, Gareth could use those as well. I will give him first choice though. He could also use a ring of protection as he is in the thick of the fight more than me.
Gareth would like to see what the wand does.
Also, Gareth has some 100 gp gems so we can Identify more objects before gametime.
In addition, as I was looking through my sheet when I upgraded, I noticed I have a set of Elven Chainmail and a Darkwood Shield (worth 4150 and 757 respectively), so I have an extra 2203.75 gp
Also, I would like to change the Cloak of Resistance to a Vest of Resistance as soon as we get back to town if possible.
Here is what we have from the Ghost Lord's Lair (so far)
Bekir's lair: Strand of Pearls worth 500 gp ------------------------------------------------------------- Upper room: from the Monks: 2 rings 2 vests 2 amulets 2 sets of bracers 2 MW Dragon Chains
Wormlord gear: Amulet of Health +2 Cloak of Charisma +2 Potion of Fly Staff of Stormclouds magic boots magic Mithril Breastplate masterwork short sword masterwork short bow 5 Magic arrows
War Priests: 2 sets magic full plate armor 2 magic light steel shields 2 magic heavy mace wand 2 scrolls of Recitation
I have the +1 quarterstaff, and the Brambles spell. If I actually get into combat, I already know we are in trouble. In addition, I plan on summoning more creatures (hopefully we are on land more so I can summon the lions.)
Gareth could use one of the Haversacks (due to all the potions he makes), but needs nothing else from the loot (other than his share of the money of course). Gareth also has a Cloak of Resistance already so Zahn is more than welcome to it.
Congrats on the upcoming addition to your family Dave!
In other news...
I found out that Chiropractic in Wisconsin is not the greatest. I will be staying here in town for a bit longer than I surmised, and will be able to play in the games for at least a month as I see it right now.
As for Silgareth, he is looking forward to finding out any more information on Mortiss.
Also, it has been a looooong time since Silgareth has been in a Human city. He is going to enjoy himself immensely.
more as I think it up
